Travers Solar Project

Travers Solar, located in Vulcan County, Alberta, is Canada’s largest solar power plant, covering 3,300 acres and generating 465 MWAC. Atlas Green Power served as the construction managers for the project, overseeing roads, helical piling, above ground CAB system, installation of 1.3 million bifacial PV modules on a tracking system and the Little Bow Substation. Travers Solar offsets over 472,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases and is enough to power 100,000 homes annually.

Tilley Solar Project
Tilley Solar Project, located in Treaty 7 Territory, Newell County, Alberta covering 179 acres and generating 23M MWAC. Atlas Green Power served as the Construction Management for the project, overseeing roads, pile installation, collection system, and commissioning of 70,00 fixed- tilt PV panels. Tilley solar reduces greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 14,200 tonnes and is enough to power 4,000 homes annually.
Michichi Creek Solar Project
Michichi Creek Solar Project, located in Drumheller, Alberta covering 200 acres and generating 25 MWAC. Atlas Green Power served as the Construction Management for the project, overseeing roads, pile installation, collection system, and commissioning of 70,000 fixed-tilt PV panels. Michichi Creek Solar reduces greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 25,000 tonnes and is enough to power 5,000 homes annually.
Stavely Solar Project
Stavely Solar Project, located in Stavely, Alberta covering 90 acres and generating 17 MWAC. Atlas Green Power served as the Construction Management for the project, overseeing roads, pile installation, collection system, and commissioning of 38,000 fixed-tilt PV panels. Stavely Solar reduces greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 16,500 tonnes and is enough to power 3,000 homes annually.
Fox Coulee Solar Project
Fox Coulee Solar Project, located in Drumheller, Alberta covering 200 acres and generating 95 MWAC. Atlas Green Power served as the Construction Management for the project, overseeing roads, pile installation, collection system, and commissioning of 171,000 bi-facial PV panels on a tracking system. Fox Coulee Solar reduces greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 70,000 tonnes and is enough to power 20,000 homes annually.
LITTLE BOW SUBSTATION Project

Little Bow Substation Project is part of the Travers Solar Project, Canada’s largest solar farm, which is located in Vulcan County, Alberta. The substation includes three 240kV-34.5kV transformers connecting 465MW of clean energy to Alberta grid.
